Children

We may support children affected by abandonment, neglect, homelessness, poverty, unsafe care environments, interrupted education or other forms of vulnerability. Assistance may include protection referrals, education support, food, clothing, psychosocial care, recreation and, where appropriately authorised and available, temporary residential support.

Child protection first

A website enquiry does not automatically result in admission. Every child-related case should be handled according to safeguarding requirements, appropriate consent, legal responsibilities and the best interests of the child.

Survivors of abuse and gender-based violence

People experiencing physical, sexual, emotional or domestic violence may require urgent safety planning, confidential support, medical care, counselling and specialised protection services. Our role is to respond with dignity, confidentiality and survivor-centred support, while coordinating appropriate referrals where needs exceed our capacity.

Street-connected individuals and families

People living or working on the streets may face hunger, violence, exploitation, poor health, family separation and barriers to education or employment. We seek to understand the circumstances behind homelessness and support a realistic transition toward greater safety and stability.

Vulnerable elderly persons

Older people experiencing poverty, abandonment, isolation or neglect may need food assistance, shelter support, healthcare referrals, home visits, companionship or other forms of dignified care.

People rebuilding life after imprisonment

Former prisoners can encounter stigma, unemployment, family breakdown and housing instability. Where appropriate, the Centre may provide or coordinate temporary support, counselling, reintegration assistance, skills development and livelihood referrals.

Families in severe economic or housing crisis

Some families have land or a safe place to live but lack the resources to construct adequate shelter. Others may need school support, food assistance or temporary intervention to prevent a crisis from becoming homelessness.

Eligibility and capacity

Support is subject to assessment, programme scope, safeguarding requirements, available resources, residential capacity and the suitability of the Centre for the individual's needs. When we cannot safely provide a required service, we aim to guide the person toward an appropriate referral where possible.
