Impact That Can Be Seen, Measured and Sustained

For Wings For The Nations, impact is not simply the number of people reached. It is whether support improves safety, dignity, wellbeing, education, stability and the ability of individuals or families to move forward with less vulnerability.

Our current programme targets

  • 50 households per implementation period - an ongoing target for safe-home and housing-restoration assistance, with support continuing into future periods as resources allow.
  • 300 children - target for education, school-material and child-support interventions.
  • 100 children - planned residential capacity within the proposed Rescue Home.
  • 100 adults - planned residential capacity within the proposed Rescue Home.
  • 10-acre campus vision - planned site for an integrated Rescue & Rehabilitation facility, subject to development, approvals and funding.

How we intend to measure progress

  • People receiving safe emergency or temporary support
  • Households receiving completed housing support
  • Children receiving education assistance
  • School attendance or continuity where data is available and appropriate
  • People receiving psychosocial or case-management support
  • Residents safely reintegrated or transitioned
  • Beneficiaries connected to healthcare, livelihood or specialised referrals
  • Children participating in safe learning and recreation activities
  • Funds and donated goods allocated by programme
  • Partner-supported projects completed
  • Follow-up outcomes where ethically and practically possible

Impact storytelling

Stories can help supporters understand the human meaning behind programme data, but dignity must come first. Case stories should be anonymised or published only with properly documented consent. Children and survivors of violence should never be pressured to share traumatic experiences for fundraising.
